Mrs. Cheryl Williams

Founder and Director of Operations


Mrs. Williamsl has over 15 years of experiences advocating and caring for harder-to-place foster children due to their medical needs and the levels of abuse they've experienced.
 
For 4 years she held the position of the St. Louis City Area 6 Representative to the Missouri State Foster Care and Adoption Advisory Board.

Ms. Rebecca Schofield 

Consulting Executive Director


Rebecca Schofield is a retired foster parent for St. Louis County. She and her husband were licensed for 23 years to provide foster care to Level A/B children. Her proudest moments were seeing 10 of her foster children walk the stage to receive their high school diplomas.She loves that she has visits and phone calls from her adult foster children and cherishes the memories and accomplishments of the many children who passed through her home. She is very proud that her daughter and son-in-law have followed in her footsteps to provide care on a therapeutic level to special needs foster children. She served as president of Gateway Foster and Adoptive Care Association for several years and now serves in the capacity of Retired/Consulting Executive Director.

Ms. Yvonne Peoples 

Program Director, Licensing Services, Advocacy and Strengthening Families

Program Director, Older Youth Services.


Yvonne Peoples has been a foster and adoptive parent for St. Louis city. She has been licensed for 12 years providing foster care for level A/B older youth. She has seen many kids come and go, but she continues to play a major role in there lives. Yvonne provides support and advocacy for all that need her service. She is hard nose, but gets the job done when it comes to caring for the youth she services.
